This is a wood-carved blue anole.
The material is cypress, and the coloring is acrylic paint.
The size is approximately 17 cm in height, 5 cm in width, and 14 (6) cm in depth (the number in parentheses is the size of the body only with parts removed).

It is said that blue is the color of human longing.
While I believe it is true that happiness is right nearby, I also think it is because we have experienced the act of longing and seeking that we are able to notice those small differences, realize how fortunate they are, and cherish them as something precious.

As told in a famous fairy tale, it is true that happiness is close at hand, but it is also because of the experience of longing and seeking that we are able to notice the small difference and cherish it as something to be thankful for.
