This is a wood-carved skunk (Mephitidae; specifically a Spilogale spotted skunk).
It is made of Japanese cypress and painted with acrylics.
The dimensions are approximately 9.7 cm in height, 4.5 cm in width, and 9 cm in depth.

When was it that I let go of the story I held so dear?
If I had been stronger, could I have told you that you were my treasure?

I am told that skunks possess a weapon capable of repelling almost any animal on earth.
Knowing their own strength, they generally live at their own pace. When bothered, they first try to resolve things through intimidation and refrain from using that weapon unless they are in true danger.
If one could possess the strength to live as they wish and remain at peace without having to bark, attack, or conform to a group, I think that would be enviable.

Spotted Skunk (Spilogale) carved from wood.

Skunks are animals with weapons that can fight off most animals on earth.
They know that they are strong, so they basically go at their own pace and try to solve problems by first intimidating people when they are messed with, and they do not use their weapons unless they are really in danger.
I envy them if they have the strength to live the way they want to live and be at peace without barking, without attacking, and without conforming to the group.
