木彫りのアナグマ（アジアアナグマ）です。
素材はヒノキ、着彩はアクリル絵の具です。
サイズは約高さ11cm、横幅6㎝、奥行き6㎝です。

初めて自分で育てたトウモロコシを食べた時は、あまりの美味しさに驚きました。
でも、私が美味しいと思うものは他の動物にとってもおいしいらしく、いろんな動物に狙われます。
ある年は、収穫しようと思ったその日の朝に、狢に持っていかれてしまいました。
次の年は、まだ収穫するには早い頃に、カラスに食われてしまいました。
ただでさえ育てる労もあるのに、成果を全部をさらわれることを防ごうと、柵を立てテグスを張り、一生懸命対策して守ることに疲れてしまって、育てること自体をやめてしまった作物です。
だけど、自分で育てたトウモロコシが信じられないくらい美味しいことを、私はよく知っています。

I was surprised by how incredibly delicious the first corn I grew myself tasted.
However, it seems that what I find delicious is also delicious to other animals, and it gets targeted by all sorts of creatures.
One year, on the morning I planned to harvest, a badger had made off with the crops.
The following year, crows ate them while they were still too early to harvest.
It takes enough effort just to grow them as it is, and I eventually got so tired of trying to protect the crops from being completely snatched away—setting up fences and stringing up lines—that I stopped growing them altogether.
Still, I know very well just how unbelievably delicious homegrown corn can be.

素材が木なので、吸湿と乾燥を繰り返すことで割れが発生する可能性があります。また、温度の高い場所に置くと木の内部の脂が溶けて表面に滲み出す場合がございます。なるべく湿度や温度の変化の少ない場所で保管することをお勧めします。特に直射日光が当たる場所やエアコンの吹き出し口付近での保管は木の劣化を早めるので避けて下さい。

Because the material is wood, repeated cycles of moisture absorption and drying may cause cracking. Additionally, placing the item in high temperatures may cause the natural oils inside the wood to melt and seep to the surface. We recommend storing the item in a location with minimal fluctuations in humidity and temperature. In particular, please avoid storage in direct sunlight or near air conditioning vents, as these will accelerate the deterioration of the wood.
