木彫りのコウモリ（アブラコウモリ）です。
素材はヒノキ、着彩はアクリル絵の具です。
サイズは約高さ10㎝、横幅6㎝、奥行き6㎝です。

人は与えられたものよりも自分が与えたものの方をずっと多く見積もる性質があるのだそうだ。
そして、言葉で表されなかったものを、忘れてしまう性質がある。

This is a hand-carved Japanese house bat.
It is made of cypress wood and painted with acrylics.
It measures approximately 10 cm in height, 6 cm in width, and 6 cm in depth.

It is said that people have a tendency to overestimate what they have given compared to what they have received.
And we have a tendency to forget what was never put into words.

May we never forget what is given to us by those with whom we cannot converse.

素材が木なので、吸湿と乾燥を繰り返すことで割れが発生する可能性があります。なるべく湿度の変化の少ない場所で保管することをお勧めします。特に直射日光が当たる場所やエアコンの吹き出し口付近での保管は木の劣化を早めるので避けて下さい。
