Chicks 2

This is a hand-carved wooden baby bird (Canada goose).
It is made of Japanese cypress (with some bamboo parts) and painted with acrylics.
The size is approximately 8 cm high, 4.5 cm wide, and 5.5 cm (4.5 cm) deep (the number in parentheses is the size of the body only, with parts removed).

To be able to face it with all my might, pouring in everything I believe in and everything I can.

Momo-no-Sekku (Girl’s Day) is a day to pray for the healthy growth of girls, and it is said that Hina dolls were originally displayed to mimic a wedding ceremony to wish for a happy marriage in the future. However, I believe there are many different forms of healthy growth and happiness for girls, so I have created a different form of Hina doll.

May you find something you can face to the fullest, pouring in as much as you believe and as much as you can.

"雛（Hina)" in today's Japan mainly means a child of a bird, but it originally means "something small and cute", and small and cute dolls displayed on Momo-no-Sekku are called "Hina-ningyo (Hina dolls)".
March 3 is called Momo-no-Sekku in Japan, a day to pray for the healthy growth of girls, and hina dolls resembling a wedding ceremony are displayed to pray for a happy marriage in the future.
However, I think there are many different forms of happiness and healthy growth of girls, so I made another form of Hina dolls.
