This is a wood-carved crab (juvenile fiddler crab).
The material is Japanese cypress (with some bamboo), colored with acrylic paint.
The dimensions are approximately 9.2 cm in height, 7.7 cm in width, and 5 cm in depth.

I heard that fiddler crabs are blue when they are juveniles the size of a grain of rice.
Since it has ten legs, I decided to model it after the eight-armed Benzaiten.
Benzaiten is the goddess of wisdom, learning, and music, but she is also a deity of war, often depicted holding weapons in her eight arms.
So, I gave this little one some objects that might look a bit intimidating to hold.
Fighting with all my might today, I welcome happiness.
