May 5 is Tango-no Sekku, a day to celebrate the healthy growth of boys in Japan.
In order to let God know that there is a boy in the house and to protect him, there is a custom in Japan to display a large carp streamer in the garden on May 5.
It is said that this carp streamer may be based on a Chinese legend in which a carp that climbs over a waterfall becomes a dragon.

Points to note when purchasing

As a general rule, we do not accept returns or exchanges for customer convenience.
Please understand that minor scratches or slight distortions may be present as part of the unique charm of handmade items.
Colors and atmosphere may appear different depending on your device or lighting conditions.
Because the material is wood, cracking may occur due to cycles of moisture absorption and drying. Additionally, if placed in a high-temperature area, resin inside the wood may melt and seep to the surface. We recommend storing the item in a location with minimal fluctuations in temperature and humidity. In particular, please avoid storage in direct sunlight or near air conditioner vents, as this will accelerate the deterioration of the wood.
Some requests cannot be met after purchase, so please ask any questions you may have before buying.
As shipping is handled on weekends and holidays, please note that it may take some time for your order to be shipped depending on when it is placed. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
