This is a wood-carved Nawab butterfly larva.
It is made of Japanese cypress (with some bamboo and resin) and painted with acrylics.
The dimensions of the Nawab larva are approximately 7cm in height, 6.5cm in width, and 11.2cm (8cm) in depth (the number in parentheses is the size of the body only, with parts removed),
and the cat is approximately 4cm in height, 2.3cm in width, and 3.5cm in depth.

The Nawab butterfly larva is called a "dragon-headed caterpillar" because it looks like it is wearing a dragon mask.
2024 is the Year of the Dragon.

To prevent damage during transit, the item will be shipped unassembled (please see the second image; this is how it will be shipped). Please assemble the parts upon arrival and secure them with wood glue.
In principle, we do not accept returns or exchanges for customer convenience.
You may notice minor scratches or distortions, which are characteristic of handmade items.
Colors and atmosphere may appear different depending on your device or light source.
As it is made of wood, it may crack due to repeated moisture absorption and drying. Additionally, if placed in a high-temperature area, resin from inside the wood may melt and seep to the surface. We recommend storing it in a place with minimal fluctuations in humidity and temperature. In particular, please avoid storing it in direct sunlight or near air conditioning vents, as these will accelerate the deterioration of the wood.
As some requests cannot be accommodated after purchase, please ask any questions you may have before buying.
