Shrikes have a habit called “shrike impaling,” where they pierce prey caught in the warmer seasons onto thorns to store as food.
Shrikes that eat many of these impaled prey during the winter sing more beautifully in the spring and have a higher chance of finding a mate.

Points to note when purchasing

As this product is made of wood, repeated absorption and release of moisture may lead to cracking. Additionally, if placed in a high-temperature area, the natural oils within the wood may melt and seep to the surface. We recommend storing the product in an environment with minimal fluctuations in humidity and temperature. In particular, avoid direct sunlight and areas near air conditioner vents, as these will accelerate the deterioration of the wood.
Please feel free to ask any questions before purchasing, as we may be unable to accommodate certain requests once an order is placed.
