This is a woodcarving of a bumblebee (Bombus hypocrita).
It is made of cypress (with some bamboo parts) and painted with acrylic paint.
Dimensions: approx. 10 cm (height), 8.2 (6.5) cm (width), 10 (7.5) cm (depth) (The numbers in parentheses indicate the dimensions of the main body without the detachable parts.)

In early spring, there are bees that fly around near the ground like fluffy stuffed animals. It is said that at one time, bumblebees were thought to be aerodynamically incapable of flight because their wings are so small relative to their fluffy bodies.

In order to prevent damage during transit, the item is shipped unassembled (please see the second image; this is the condition in which it will be shipped). Please assemble the parts upon arrival and secure them with wood glue.
In principle, we do not accept returns or exchanges for customer-related reasons.
Please understand that you may notice minor scratches or distortions that are characteristic of handmade items.
Colors and appearance may vary depending on your device or light source.
As this is a natural wood product, repeated moisture absorption and drying may cause cracking. Additionally, if kept in a hot location, resin inside the wood may melt and seep to the surface. We recommend storing the item in a place with minimal fluctuations in humidity and temperature. In particular, avoid areas in direct sunlight or near air conditioning vents, as these will accelerate the deterioration of the wood.
