This is a hand-carved wooden beaver.
The material is Japanese cypress (with some bamboo), and it is colored with acrylic paint.
The size is approximately 9.5 cm in height, 6.5 cm in width, and 9.5 cm in depth.

It is said that beavers represent hard workers.
They are also said to be the only non-human animals that reshape their surrounding environment to suit their own lives.
When I hear about damming water to create pools, I immediately think of rice fields as well as dams; it is about that time of year when the rice paddies start to fill with water.

Points to note when purchasing

We generally do not accept returns or exchanges for customer convenience.
Please note that you may notice minor scratches or distortions that are part of the charm of handmade items.
Colors and appearances may look different depending on your device or lighting.
As the material is wood, repeated moisture absorption and drying may lead to cracking. Additionally, if placed in a high-temperature area, the resin inside the wood may melt and seep to the surface. We recommend storing it in a place with minimal fluctuations in humidity and temperature. In particular, please avoid storage in direct sunlight or near air conditioning vents, as these accelerate the deterioration of the wood.
If you have any questions, please ask before purchasing, as we may be unable to accommodate requests made after your purchase.
As we process shipments on weekends and holidays, please be aware that depending on when you place your order, it may take some time before your item is shipped. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
