This is a hand-carved wooden cat (brown tabby and white).
It is made of cypress (with some bamboo parts) and hand-painted with acrylics.
Dimensions are approximately 12.5 (11) cm in height, 7.2 cm in width, and 8 cm in depth (the number in parentheses refers to the body size alone with parts removed).

There is happiness in having the power to protect you and your loved ones.
However, winning against others is not what matters.
Your value is not defined by your appearance, numbers, or your work.
I am happy just because you exist, no matter what else is missing.
My only wish is for you to live and be happy.

My own brown tabby cat is basically gentle and timid, partly because he is blind, but whenever he hears the vacuum cleaner, he is the first to jump out, puffing up his fur and body to their fullest, growling fiercely to protect his younger sister cats.
There is a Taoist deity named Zhong Kui who is believed to have the power to ward off illness; in some regions, there is a tradition of sending his image as a gift for the Boys' Festival or displaying it on rooftops.

Points to note when purchasing

To prevent damage during transit, the item is shipped unassembled (please see the second image for the state in which it is shipped). Upon arrival, please assemble the parts and secure them with wood glue.
In principle, we do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer preferences.
Please note that you may notice minor scratches or distortions, which are part of the unique charm of handmade items.
Colors and appearance may vary depending on your device screen and lighting conditions.
As this is made of natural wood, repeated moisture absorption and drying may cause cracking. Additionally, placing the item in high temperatures may cause natural oils within the wood to melt and seep to the surface. We recommend storing it in a location with minimal fluctuations in humidity and temperature. Please avoid direct sunlight or areas near air conditioner vents, as these can accelerate wood deterioration.
If you have any questions, please ask before purchasing, as some requests cannot be accommodated after the order is placed.
Shipping is handled on weekends and holidays, so depending on when you place your order, there may be a delay in dispatch. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
