run

This is a wood-carved rabbit (Arctic hare).
It is made of Japanese cypress (with some bamboo) and colored with acrylic paint.
The dimensions are approximately 10.5 (10) cm high, 5 cm wide, and 10 (4) cm deep (numbers in parentheses indicate the size of the body alone with parts removed).

One might think of rabbits as merely weak, preyed-upon animals, but they are actually hardy creatures that flourish across a surprisingly wide range of the globe.
The Arctic hare lives in the Arctic Circle and can reportedly run at speeds of over 60 km/h.
Incidentally, while the cheetah is famous as the world's fastest animal, the fastest animal in Japan, where there are no cheetahs, is the hare (the mountain hare, a species adapted to snowy regions like this Arctic hare).

Points to note when purchasing

To prevent damage during transit, the item is shipped unassembled (please see the second image; this is how it will be shipped). Please assemble the parts upon arrival and secure them with wood glue.
We generally do not accept returns or exchanges for customer convenience.
You may notice minor scratches or distortions, which are part of the unique character of handmade items.
Colors and atmosphere may appear different depending on your device or light source.
As this product is made of wood, repeated cycles of moisture absorption and drying may cause cracking. We recommend storing it in a place with minimal fluctuations in humidity. Please avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near air conditioner vents, as this will accelerate the degradation of the wood.
Since we may be unable to fulfill certain requests after purchase, please feel free to ask any questions before placing your order.
As we process shipments on weekends and holidays, please be aware that it may take some time for your order to ship depending on when it is placed. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
