This is a hand-carved porcupine (prehensile-tailed porcupine).
It is made of Japanese cypress and painted with acrylics.
It measures approximately 9.5 cm in height, 6.3 cm in width, and 9.4 cm in depth.

Why did I carve away its quills? Perhaps because I didn't want to get hurt.

The shaved-off quill tips are tucked away carefully in my closet.
I intend to look at them again someday.

In particular, please avoid storage in direct sunlight or near air conditioning vents, as these conditions will accelerate wood deterioration.
