This is a hand-carved wooden baby bird (swan).
It is made of cypress and painted with acrylics.
It measures approximately 8 cm in height, 4.3 cm in width, and 5.5 cm in depth.

The form in which it emerges from the soil may not be what you imagined, but perhaps that is where it all begins.

Momo-no-Sekku (Girls' Day) is a day to pray for the healthy growth of girls. It is said that Hina dolls were traditionally displayed to model a wedding ceremony in hopes of a happy future marriage. However, because I believe there are many different paths to healthy growth and happiness for girls, I created these Hina dolls in a different form.

"Hina" in today's Japan mainly means a baby bird, but it originally meant "something small and cute," and the small, cute dolls displayed on Momo-no-Sekku are called "Hina-ningyo (Hina dolls)."
March 3 is called Momo-no-Sekku in Japan, a day to pray for the healthy growth of girls, and hina dolls resembling a wedding ceremony are displayed to pray for a happy marriage in the future.
However, I think there are many different forms of happiness and healthy growth for girls, so I created these Hina dolls in a different form.
