木彫りのムササビ（ホオジロムササビ）です。
素材はヒノキ、着彩はアクリル絵の具です。
サイズは約高さ10㎝、横幅5㎝、奥行き10㎝です。

速く走る必要も無いし、誰かを傷つける牙も必要ない。派手な色彩で、自分は危険だと触れ回る必要も無い。
ジェットエンジンなど積んでいなくてもいいのだ。
追い詰められたら飛んで逃げられるだけの、自分のマントを持っているなら、
栄養のある葉をたくさん食べて、最も大きな空飛ぶリスだと胸を張って、ささやかに生きていくことができる。

This is a wood carving of a flying squirrel (Petaurista leucogenys).
The material is cypress and the coloring is acrylic paint.
The size is about 10 cm high, 5 cm wide, and 10 cm deep.

There is no need to run fast or have fangs to hurt anyone. It doesn't need to be flashy and colorful, and it doesn't need to tell people that it is dangerous.
We don't need to carry jet engines.
If you have your own cape, enough to fly away if cornered.
You can eat lots of nourishing leaves and live modestly, proudly proclaiming yourself the biggest flying squirrel.

素材が木なので、吸湿と乾燥を繰り返すことで割れが発生する可能性があります。なるべく湿度の変化の少ない場所で保管することをお勧めします。特に直射日光が当たる場所やエアコンの吹き出し口付近での保管は木の劣化を早めるので避けて下さい。
