木彫りのラッコです。
素材はヒノキ、着彩はアクリル絵の具です。
サイズは約高さ10cm、横幅4cm、奥行き6.3cmです。

ラッコは冷たい海の中で常に熱を放出しているから、高級食材ばっかり大量に食べるのだそうだ。
養殖している高級な海産物を大量に食べられてしまうこともあるのだそう。

愛らしさは生きていくために重要な要素だなと思います。

This is a wooden sea otter carving.
The material is cypress and the coloring is acrylic paint.
It is approximately 10 cm tall, 4 cm wide, and 6.3 cm deep.

Sea otters are constantly releasing heat in the cold ocean, so they eat large quantities of only the highest quality foods.
In Japan, sea otters sometimes appear in Hokkaido, where three sea otters once ate four tons (about 320,000 USD) of sea urchins that had been cultivated in the sea.

素材が木なので、吸湿と乾燥を繰り返すことで割れが発生する可能性があります。なるべく湿度の変化の少ない場所で保管することをお勧めします。特に直射日光が当たる場所やエアコンの吹き出し口付近での保管は木の劣化を早めるので避けて下さい。
